Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) work within pharmaceutical companies to identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)—influential physicians and researchers who drive scientific collaboration.
H1’s platform gives MSLs access to a vast database of healthcare professionals, but the legacy search experience felt like a database query—powerful, yet disconnected from real discovery goals.

Approach

Redesigned the search to align with how MSLs actually work. Simplified filters, added presets for typical outreach workflows, and improved relevance and feedback to make discovery faster and more intuitive.

Impact

Turned H1’s most-used feature into a guided, insight-driven experience that helps medical teams find the right experts with confidence.
